Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald – Treating Diseases Through Entrepreneurial Adventures

Over the last 20 years, Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald has been leveraging his finance and medical training to effectively bear on choosing the right investment projects and create the groundworks to develop life-saving solutions against some of the most serious ailments afflicting mankind.  Along the way, he has carved his reputation as among the most prolific venture capitalist and entrepreneurs in the fields of medical R&D, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and life sciences.

Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald started his careers with a college degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University in 1997.  From there, Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald proceeded to complete his medical degree from the Templeton University’s School of Medicine in 1993 before taking his internship at the Abington Medical Hospital in Philadelphia.  He then set up his own private practice in New York for a couple of years but finally shifted his career towards Wall Street where his training in medicine and finance created his roots in the investment analysis and management world.

In 1991, he founded the equity firm BioCapital which invested on various upstarts companies in the healthcare and biotechnology industries and paved the road for found such companies during the ensuing 20-year career.  Many of these companies that Dr Lindsay Rosenwald founded like Polarx, Titan Pharmaceuticals, Biocryst Pharmaceuticals, Cypress Biosciences, Javelin Pharmaceuticals, Enzymed Corp and Keryx Biopharmaceuticals are known to have developed drug formulations in treating various diseases like schizophrenia, rheumatoid arthritis, H1N1, Fibromyalgia, cancer, and leukemia, among others.
